AuctionsAt each meeting of the NYCC we have an auction. Typically we have about 15 to 20 items up for auction. Opening bids are very reasonable and items can sometimes escalate to high values. You may come to any meeting and bid on items. Only members of NYCC may consign items to the auctions. This is one of the many member benefits. Some of the auction items are donation items, meaning that the entire sale proceeds is turned over to the club. Most items are consigned and there is a 10% auction fee which is turned over to the club and the consignor receives 90% of the hammer price.
